Build a visit list
List the expected categories of vehicle visit without guessing the equipment or method. Ask the responsible contractor or provider to identify its requirements. Record who books each visit, who receives it and who can change the arrangement.
Describe the approved arrival location and the route that must remain available. Tell the project team about gates, shared access, overhead restrictions or activities that could affect a booking. Physical suitability must be assessed by the relevant provider.
Resolve clashes before confirming bookings
Compare collection and delivery plans with other contractors’ activities. A new material delivery can fill the space intended for debris handling, while an early collection can leave waste without an agreed destination. Use dependencies to decide the sequence rather than assuming every task can overlap.
Do not direct a provider to use a road, verge or neighbouring property without the necessary permission. Public-space requirements belong with the relevant municipal authority and must be checked for the actual location.
Prepare for a changed visit
Agree who is notified when access or the scope changes and what must be reviewed before rebooking. Keep the site contact informed of the current plan. When enquiring with YAK, explain any fixed access restrictions or other scheduled trades, while recognizing that the work sequence remains subject to assessment.
